What this mod does

It adds a sliding sidebar (see vBulletin 4, http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/) on the front page of your vBulletin 3.7.x – 3.8.x forum.

Features:

• Fully phrased to allow language translation
• Option to have displayed the latest posts containing attachments
• Option to have displayed the latest slideshows threads created (I will post it soon here)
• Option to have displayed the latest albums photo created
• Option to have displayed the latest blog entries
• Option to have displayed the latest threads created
• Option to have displayed the latest social groups created
• Option to have displayed the latest polls created
• Option to have displayed a 3D rotating cumulus Tag Cloud

Installation instructions.

1. If you don't have v2.00 already installed, Un-install any previous version (< 2.00) product file xml. If you have already a version > v2.00, follow the instructions bellow and allow overwrite when importing the product xml file)
2. Uncompress the archive
3. Upload the content of the "upload" folder into your forum root/main directory
4. Import the "product_vb4sidebar.xml" product via your ACP:
5. ACP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Product -> Add/Import Product
6. Adjust the mod settings as you see fit.
7. ACP -> vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> vBulletin 4 Sidebar Option
8. Save the specified settings.

When you enable this mod on threads pages, to have the "Post Thank You", "Post Groan" and "Topic of the week/month" hacks working properly with the sidebar mod, open the "Thank You", "Post Groan" and "Topic of the week/month" xml product files, and delete all occurences of: "!(defined('LOCATION_BYPASS')) &&"

vb3.8.3 полет нормальный, только облако тэгов с кодировкой проблемы почему-то... форум на cp1251.

У меня тоже cp1251 но с кодировкой все ок.Но по крайней мере два тега не показывается в облаке.В полно маштабном режиме теги есть, но без разделителя ,что выглядит не очень.

[РЕШЕНО] При выборе слова в облаке тега выскакивает сообщение "вы не имеете прав для доступа к этой странице", захожу как администратор.
В стиле CityGlow сидебар располагаеться под форумом в FireFox 3.5, в IE 8 нормально.

ёмаё, эта штука добавляет немереное кол-во запросов на главной! Ужас!

А так прикольная вещь, но....

как быть с нестандартныйм шаблоном? что править?

сам отвечу. в шаблоне FORUMHOME вначале основной таблицы добавить

<!-- main -->

в конце,

<!-- /main -->

переустановить продукт.


с альбомами ни у кого ошибок нет? не выводит просмотры и последние. говорит ошибка базы

Класс. в рус варианте не кто не встречал?

Все ищу себе решение, блин поставил, ужаснулся.

Это я конечно принял во внимание. Но немереное количество никак у меня не ассоциировалось с тем, что она может добавить их 80!
