Sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately I can't get it working .. Can you please try to install any of your translations on a new copy of the product & see what happens .. The encoding of the exported translations seems to be wrong & that's why it can't be imported correctly. (Both normal & utf-8 versions tested with no hope)
Please check it & provide valid translation files after making sure it's working so we can check it ...

The UTF-8 version is working well now.
But the normal version isn't. Can you please check it & update me. Tell me also please what encoding used for it in the forum board ..

i used utf-8 for my board

but first my attached translated files must work fine for russian as cp1251 encoding board db

I attached example translation anothe hack for russian board in 1251 (work well)

I agree it's supposed to work, but unfortunately it doesn't!
Board encoding "cp1251", imported product "test.xml", result: nothing of the translated phrases imported including Russian product's name.
Can you check it please on a localhostto be sure & update me ...

Tested & same issue!!
Tested with all possible Russian charset encodings: (cp1251 / ISO-8859-5 / windows-1251 / KOI8-R) & the same result, no Russian phrases inserted!!

I testing it work fine bit you board have database is utf-8 or..... (for only import utf-8 lang file) and you installed russian language on board encoding wrong (not install lang file latin or cp1251 etc if database is utf-8)

I delete wrong rissian language and install normal language after import utf-8 product translation . Now it work good !

I thought it might be the reason. Yes, that demo board has utf-8 database collation.
OK, I think I'm a bit closer to install the normal encoding translation file now.
I've setup a new demo board locally with cp1251_general_ci (& tried latin1_swedish_ci also) collation & installed the russian translation, it's imported but as question marks ??????
I think it's just one step forward to get it installed correctly, can you please tell me what's the correct database collation & the board language charset that corresponds with Russian translation, so I can fix it & make it works?
I don't know why, but the Greek language has strange letters as Russian & I didn't get such issues with it. I thought & still believe that UTF-8 contains all possible charset encodings, but for some reason (or may be I'm wrong in my believe) it doesn't support Russian.

By the way, I'm waiting for your instructions for the final fix.. Looking forward to hear from you.

Hello dear, I need this finished today if you can. I'll appreciate it & will send you your license as soon as it's fixed, many users doesn't use utf-8, so we've to know how to provide both encoding functionally.

Default charset for russian language cp1251 or windows-1251 and collation may used latin1_swedish_ci (Default). If forum have more specific language with russian language. (Greek, Arabic, Turkish, and more) used utf-8 database & mysql collation with language files.

Collatin latin1_swedish_ci (Default): may used englishe and russian language and more. but no correct show other language if change it on forum.

Collation utf8_general_ci: may used any language with correct show charset if change language on forum
