I am trying make users fill out a certian amount of information when they register and I am lost.
I have it set so they have to fill out certian fields but if they dont want to write anything, they just write a "x" or "not at this time" in the requried field.
What i want is to make them fill out a certian amount of words or lines in the required fields. i want to do this to keep out the spammers and people that just dont care.
Is there such a hack? Or do I have to change a php file?

Use this hack instead: Force Users to Fill out All fields in Profile. See attchment
After they register and leave the domain, on return they are forced to update profile.
This still doesnt make them write a certain amount of info but is very effective.
this hack works on all versions of VB but modify the xml to your version with your favorite PHP editor or open in notepad.

You didnt read my whole responce...
--> this hack works on all versions of VB but modify the xml to your version with your favorite PHP editor or open in notepad

Then y u must take a risk installing 3.5 version when there is a hack for 3.6 version???
Sorry for not reading ur post but its worth to not reading rather than taking a big risk using 3.5.3 version! Your profile also state that you are using 3.6.4 version, that is y I am talking for...LOL
