All my boards have always inserted the bbcode tags automatically when you press them, CODE, PHP, HTML, HIDE etc...

Now, on a new install, when CODE, PHP, HTML, or HIDE are pressed, it asks to insert an option. How can I get rid of this annoyance and have it just insert the bbcode tag?

Your problem seems to be wiered, it is all due to javascript function change, some hacks may change its behaviour, check back the hack which you have recently installed.

There is nothing in settings side

i had the problem, make sure in ./clientscript/vbulletin_textedit.js your added coding to this file looks like this:
